KAIA is excited to welcome friend and colleague
Amanda Grimm to join the quartet this season!
Amanda is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and Carnegie Mellon University. An active chamber and orchestral musician, she currently serves as the Principal Viola of Orchestra Iowa. From the first moment we played with Amanda, we were struck by her beautiful tone and by her sensitivity as a chamber musician. We are thrilled to start this musical journey with her and to explore repertoire both new and old with a fresh perspective.
You can hear KAIA in it's new formation starting May 1st on the radio as we begin our residency with WFMT and in concert on May 7th at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art
